Balangan is a stretch of white sand framed by dramatic limestone cliffs. The left-hander here is consistent and works across most tides, making it a favourite for improving surfers. On smaller days the inside is gentle enough for beginners, and the relaxed cliff-top warungs make it an easy place to spend the whole morning learning.
